-all fabric edges hemmed except on the scarf, this type of fabric won't curl
-the neck part can be used as regular collar as folded back, it is 3 layers of mesh that could cover the face but allows a decent amount of sight
The material is rayon which is heavier than an average t shirt fabric, it is rather durable, slightly glossy and has a very dark black tone.
The materials has a smooth and even texture.
It is warmer and more durable than common cotton fabrics.
The sizes are based upon chest girth in inches: i.e. a size 40 has a 40" chest.
For this particular piece, I recommend choosing exact or closest larger size:
Choosing size 40 for a 39" chest measurement or choosing size 44 for a 44" measurement.
On the compiled photo (#1) I displayed most variations, the scarf part can be attached in many ways with a black safety pin that comes with the item.
This material can be punched through with a safety pin, it won't leave holes, tears or compromise the fabric structure.
